Through its three-tier ESG governance structure — Governance Layer, Management Layer, and Execution Layer — the Company meaningfully fulfills its responsibilities to its users, employees, partners, and the broader community.
The Board of Directors holds ultimate decision-making authority over ESG matters, is responsible for the final review of the Group's ESG-related strategies and reports, and has delegated to the Corporate Governance Committee the authority to coordinate the formulation of the ESG strategy.
The Chief Financial Officer and Joint Company Secretary are responsible for the overall coordination and management of the Company's ESG matters and for directing the ESG Working Group in implementing the strategies and initiatives established by the Corporate Governance Committee.
The constituent departments of the ESG Working Group are responsible for executing the relevant tasks proposed by the ESG Working Group and advancing the Company's ESG initiatives.
In its day-to-day business operations, Kuaishou places significant emphasis on the impact of ESG issues towards the Company's long-term sustainable development. The Company has integrated materiality assessment into its risk management process and, through the steps of identification, engagement, prioritization, and validation, maintains regular communication with stakeholders to continuously review and enhance its sustainability policies. Concurrently, the Company has established a full-process risk management system encompassing risk identification, assessment, response, and monitoring, enabling dynamic assessment and tracking of the severity and likelihood of various risks.
